by telephone lines. Our servers are housed at a
Network Access Point (NAP) the NAP of which there
are 6 are the control points of the Internet and
reside directly on the backbone of what we you call
the Internet.
Being on the backbone means that the building is
always live 100% of the time. The NAP is a building
that houses the Southern Communications Section
for the US Arm Forces. It has generating stand by
equipment plus special electrical contracts with
local power providers. The NAP is as secure as any
data center can be with full security 24/7. This
space cost more then other data centers but we believe
that in only offering the very best of service.
We only offer the best hosting equipment. Because
if the building is up 100% the only down time can
come from equipment failure. We also monitor those
servers so that when issues begin to arise our staff
is alerted and they begin working before the problem
is noticed by our customers. We also offer redundant
hosting solutions. Which means that if one server
fails the system redirects the traffic to another
server an exact duplicate of the one that failed.
There is of course a little down time when this
occurs. Of course we must close down servers to
maintain the equipment and this work is done at
non peak hours with advance notice to our customers.
Finally our back up system is state of the art.
It allows MVI to back up all systems at intervals
determined by the client. From 6 hours to daily.
These backups are maintained up to 30 days so we
always have a back if the unexpected should occur.
Customer service is the key element in the satisfaction
of our clients. Because of this, customer service
